Vehicle usage

This report is generated from data downloaded from the tachograph, and shows who used the vehicle when, and how far it travelled meanwhile. For data downloaded from the driver card, its counterpart is the vehicle-based Vehicle usage.

What do you see for an item?

An item lasts from the insertion of a card to its removal — the tachograph records every insertion and removal. The item consists of two cards:

  • Header: the time of insertion and removal, with the elapsed time in parentheses.
  • Data: at the top, the driver's name and the icons; below, the starting and ending odometer readings, and the difference between the two, the distance travelled.
IconMeaning
The card was in the driver's slot (1). On tap: Driver.
The card was in the codriver's slot (2). On tap: Codriver.
The item has GPS positions; tapping the icon opens the Map.

The red item named Unknown driver marks a section where there was no card in the driver's slot, but the vehicle was driven anyway, or the odometer reading increased. Entries with incomplete odometer readings are skipped by the app.

Weekly and monthly summaries

With the Weekly summaries or Monthly summaries menu item, the items are grouped by week or by month. After the items of each period, a row shows the period's start and end dates, and below it is the summary:

  • — the time the cards spent in the vehicle during the period (this is not driving time);
  • the distance travelled during the period.

Each item belongs to the period in which it started. The boundary of weeks and months is set by the First day of week and First day of month settings.

Sort order

In the menu you can choose from three sort orders: Period ↓ - Day ↓, Period ↑ - Day ↑ and Period ↑ - Day ↓ (this is the default: the most recent period comes first, and within it the items are in chronological order). Your choice is shared between the Working time summary and both Vehicle usage reports.

Times are shown according to the Time zone for reports setting, distances according to the Distance unit setting, and durations according to the Duration format setting. See the Settings page.
